Dalila Mujagic

Legal Lead at WITNESS and Faculty at the Global Campus for Human Rights (she/her)

Dalila has dedicated over 15 years to human rights advocacy, and now works alongside activists, civil society organizations, and lawyers to prove human rights crimes and violations using visual evidence. Overseeing the world-renowned Video as Evidence Field Guide and curriculum at the global nonprofit WITNESS, Dalila teaches and publishes guidance on environmental defense, sexual and gender-based violence, atrocity crimes, and more. Her current work focuses on the use of demonstratives, open source investigations, and other emerging technologies and methods in service of community-led justice goals.

Victor Ribeiro

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER FOR LATIN AMERICA & CARIBBEAN BRAZIL (HE/HIM)

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Victor has spent 15 years working as a documentarian and multimedia trainer with independent media and social movements. He joined WITNESS in 2013 when police brutality against media and social movements surged amidst growing protests against the FIFA World Cup 2014 and Olympic Games 2016. He has supported favela-based groups, Indigenous communities, environmental activists, lawyers, and NGOs by providing trainings, convenings, and consultancies to improve media literacy, denounce human rights violations, and fight for accountability. Victor is the founder of Bombozila, an independent streaming platform, dedicated to cataloging and distributing social impact documentaries filmed throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. He is a Senior Program Manager for Latin America & Caribbean at WITNESS and co-leads the cross-regional Abya Yala land defense strategy.

Natalia Guerrero

U.S. PROGRAMS MANAGER AT WITNESS (THEY/THEM/ELLE)

Natalia is an Andean nonbinary and immigrant community educator, cultural organizer, and storyteller. They are the Program Manager for the United States at WITNESS supporting activists, grassroots organizations, advocates, and legal experts across the U.S. to better utilize video and technology to expose abuses, create counter-narratives, and fight for accountability. For the past 14 years, they have organized with/for immigrant, 2SLGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, and POC youth on gender/racial/immigrant/climate justice and land defense. They co-lead WITNESS’ cross-regional strategy in Abya Yala (the “Americas”), centering Indigenous fights to protect the land and waters using video strategies to build global solidarity/power.

Samela Sateré Mawé

COMMUNICATIONS ADVISOR FOR THE ARTICULATION OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES OF BRAZIL (SHE/HER)

Samela is Indigenous of the Sateré Mawé peoples in the Amazon, biologists, and environmental activists through Friday's For Future Brazil. She is also the Communications Advisor for the Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil- APIB and ANMIGA- National Movement of Indigenous Women Warriors of Ancestrality, and a media presenter at Canal Re-load. She also is part of the Sateré Mawé Indigenous Women Association and the Indigenous Students of the Amazon (Meiam). Samela is a Fellow of the Arapyau Institute and a member of the Uma Concertação Pela Amazônia @concertacaoamazonia
