Rose is an enrolled Oglala Lakota tribal member. She was born in Sindelfingen, Germany to Gabriele Kleinhans and Benny Lee Rosales, and was raised most of her life in the Medicine Root district. Rose attended Red Cloud High School before obtaining her GED from Bennett County, after which she began working right away. She spent three years as a cashier and shift manager at Kyle Grocery before starting employment with Thunder Valley in February of 2022.
