Robert “Rob” Goodman is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. He is a resident of the Pine Ridge reservation where his family has ranched for 6 generations. He received a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Management from South Dakota State University. He has worked for the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service, but most of his experience has come from 20 combined years of working on the Pine Ridge Reservation for the Oglala Sioux Parks and Recreation Authority and the US Natural Resources Conservation Service. Rob brings experience from working hands-on with wildlife monitoring and reintroductions, bison stewardship, and agricultural resource management.
