The Regenerative Community Development Initiative focuses on healing our relationship with Uŋčí Makȟá (Grandmother Earth), our built environment and all living things around us. The team is responsible for ensuring that the physical spaces where our liberation and healing occur meet our community’s vision for a healthy, innovative, and culturally-appropriate built environment rooted in our Lakota way of life.
This Initiative prioritizes the implementation of renewable energy while also leading community design workshops, project planning, and construction project management for the Thunder Valley properties. Their services address a range of topics including: landscaping, community planning, building design, recreational outdoor space design, wayfinding & signage and environmental sustainability.
