Raina, Oglala Lakota/Mnicoujou Lakota, grew up in Allen, SD. She is a mom of 3 boys and earned an AA Degree in Tribal Law in 2024. She is currently working towards finishing her BA in Lakota Studies - Law. She has 4 years of experience in Early Childhood teaching as a Paraprofessional in K-2nd grade. Her goal at Thunder Valley is to sharpen her knowledge and understanding of Montessori learning and to effectively use that knowledge to support the children in their own journey. 

Outside of work she likes to go for runs, rock hunt with her sons, and she runs a small baking business.
